On December 21, 2012, we began our holiday vacation to Costa Rica. Our group consisted of Sam and Ariana, Ari's parents Wayne and Felicia, her grandparents Joe and Karen, Bruce and me, and later in the trip. Grandma Fawn joined us. We traveled in all directions, from the east coast to the west, north to south, and stayed near a volcano and hot springs in the middle. We drove along winding roads for hours, heading to the rainforest. Along the way we stopped for gas, and a man along the road sold us snacks. For a few more colones, he sang us a song!
